AN INSIGHT INTO THE DEPARTMENT
Kaumarabhritya is the paediatrics department of Ayurveda and one among the Ashtangas of Ayurveda. This department teaches the ayurvedic aspect of child health care. The child health care in Ayurveda is more comprehensive since it considers mother also while the treatment which makes it unique and the most demanding branch in Ayurveda . These practical knowledge is imparted to the students at this department.
