AN INSIGHT INTO THE DEPARTMENT
This subject mainly emphasize the five ( pancha ) main procedures( karma ) which are meant to be applied to human body which are the main treatment modalities mentioned in Ayurveda. The whole science of Ayurveda gives primary importance to the GIT , that is the healthy or ill health both comes from the food we eat and the digestive process and the outcomes from that. In the panchakarma the principle is that the unwanted substance in the body is brought into the GIT by the preparatory procedures and eliminated through the GIT. Here the students get the practical knowledge to do them and get well versed with the procedures
